1 Who we are

Tap That Job is a website and browser extension operated by Fouriersoft at https://tapthatjob.com. It stores a job-application profile you control and helps fill fields on third-party forms. You still review and submit every application yourself.

2 Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the product:

• Account. Name, email address, and a hashed password.
• Profile and documents. Information you enter or upload, such as résumé files, work history, education, contact details, work authorization, and common answers.
• Usage. Counts of Smart-Applies so we can enforce free limits and deliver paid unlimited access.
• Application history. When you use Fill All Fields, we store the page URL, title, inferred company if we can tell, and how many fields were filled, so you can reopen those jobs from your account. We do not store the answers typed into the form.
• Billing. If you buy a pack, Stripe processes the payment and Fouriersoft appears as the merchant. Tap That Job stores customer and fulfillment references (for example, a Stripe customer id and when unlimited access ends). We do not store full card numbers.
• Technical data. Limited logs such as error reports and security events needed to operate and protect the service.

3 How we use it

We use this information to create and secure your account, sync your profile to the extension, parse résumés, suggest addresses, match and fill form fields you request, generate draft answers you request, and process one-time purchases.

We do not sell your profile. We do not use your résumé to train public models for other companies. We do not submit job applications on your behalf.

4 The browser extension

When you open a page and use Tap That Job, the extension reads the structure of the form in front of you — labels, field types, and nearby text — so it can match fields. When you fill or generate an answer, it sends that form context together with your saved profile to Tap That Job’s servers.

The extension is not a general browsing tracker. It does not run in the background to record the sites you visit for advertising or resale.

5 When we share data

We share information only with processors who help us operate Tap That Job, and only as needed:

• Stripe for checkout and payment records.
• Infrastructure and model providers used to host the app and, when you request it, generate or match answers from your profile.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect Tap That Job or others from harm, or as part of a merger or sale of the service, in which case this policy will continue to apply or you will be notified.

6 Retention

We keep your profile and documents for as long as your account is open. You can delete your account yourself from your Account page. That immediately removes your profile, uploaded résumé files, application history, and sign-in tokens. After deletion, we may retain limited records as required for security, tax, or payment rules (for example, Stripe invoices). You can also ask us to export your data via contact.

7 Your choices

You can update your profile in the product, sign out of the website and extension, and delete your account from the Account page. Deleting your account is permanent and signs the extension out. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. We will honor those requests as required by applicable law.

8 Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport, hashed passwords, and access-limited servers. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you as required by law.

9 Children

Tap That Job is intended for people who are applying for jobs and can form a contract. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10 Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we will update this page and the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice.
